ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY
At The Cook Grocer, we’ve always loved being able to support our local community clubs and charities. To us our local clubs are the heart and soul of the community.
Every year we provide support to over 20 local community groups, schools, fundraisers and charities, providing over $10,000.00 in support each and every year.
Our commitment to support the local community groups, plays a small part in offering opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in sports, arts, culture, and environmental causes. We love seeing our locals thrive.
Supporting Community has been an integral part of what we do since our shop first opened. We are connected to our community, each and everyday and we want that to continue and grow over the year to provide a supportive environment where individuals can learn, grow, and develop their skills locally.
Community Loyalty Program
The Community Loyalty Program is a grassroots initiative of The Cook Grocer, launched in 2024. With one goal in mind – give back to a community that supports us each and everyday.
Our loyalty program works in two ways, the first program is to give registered members the chance to raise funds directly for their Club. This works perfectly for volunteer-led community and sports groups.
The second program gives the registered members of a Club or Group a discount on their groceries by making purchases at our Grocery Store. Both programs work in supporting the community either through 10% being donated to the club or the club supporting their members with 10% discount off their groceries at The Cook Grocer.
Our program has kicked off by working closely with the registered members of two local football groups, Belsouth FC & Belconnen United FC, where each registered member & their families of the Football Clubs has the opportunity to participate in the Loyalty Program.
